3D modelling of a town centre for a client.

Concepts for an international design competition.

Design Competition – Mile End: The Forest Gallery – This gallery is meant to encompass the users and immerse them in a forest atmosphere on an urban street. Trees along the side create the illusion of a wooded surrounding while ivy running above the pavements and road provide that forest canopy. Sunlight gently shines through the canopy further enhancing the users experience.

Design Competition – Mile End: The Night Gallery – Here within the night gallery lights crisscross above the street illuminating the space in changing colors. Light boxes that also serve as benches continue the effect at ground level. With changing colors the space will appear different with each varying colour. It also encourages people to use the space during a time that would typically have less users, thereby creating a new and vibrant atmosphere for this area.

Design Competition – Mile End: The Meadows Gallery – This gallery looks to change how the users view the street. Standing on the pavement one will be able to look down the street and see grass extending across the street, softening a harsh urban environment. This will be accomplished with permeable pavement that allows grass to grow through. The meadow then continues into an open space along the road and will include a path winding through a garden featuring apple trees and other types of edible gardening.
